Ok, so I have come to the realization, that Florida is rediculously slow.. Dont get me wrong, I love it, but physically I am asleep. In NY I worked out involuntarily.. Rushing in the city, running up and down flights of stairs... Walking in general was more natural and convenient in NY...
The other day I walked from Ginger Bay to the Nearest Publix, which is very close (for a NYer) but far (for a floridian).lol... I walked and immediately noticed how out of shape I was. Before I moved here that walk would have been nothing for me. NOT ANYMORE!!! YIKES!!
Now I get it.. People down here have to join a gym, or actually put in the effort, or else they are in for it...
Sooo, I have started working out. My bones and muscles are definately rusty... I started yoga today and the cracking and popping of my joints startled me.. So I'm on my way to a healthier life in Florida... Yippie...
Any advice?? Like are there events or things that happen down here that are physical?? I feel like I want to train for something, like marathon, or triathon...lol.. Something... Any pointer?
